Welcome to Greensboro

Lively historic neighborhood with everything you need at your fingertips
Greensboro is a lively town in North Carolina. It provides a small-town feel but has plenty to explore! Here you’ll find beautiful weather and fun restaurants, all in an affordable environment. And it’s a short commute to major cities such as Raleigh and Chapel Hill. Once you move to Greensboro, there's no reason to leave.
Nicknamed the “Gate City,” Greensboro initially gained attention due to its stop on the railroad line back in the 1840s. As businesses and universities continued to develop, especially in the late 1960s, Greensboro evolved into the town it is today. This historic downtown area and its small-town charm have been preserved as the area has become more commercialized.
Living in Greensboro is affordable despite the town's consistent growth. The typical cost of a single-family home is around $180,000. This is significantly lower than the surrounding areas; however, you can still commute to major cities in under 30 minutes. Greensboro is the perfect place to have it all while staying within your budget.
