Gianni Cinelli was born in Italy and moved to New York at a young age where he later met and married his wife Randi. The couple connected over their love of cooking, creating recipes and plating options, and the inestimable value they place on shared moments with friends and family around a table. They eventually settled in North Carolina where they raised their three children and opened three successful restaurants. Gianni and Randi moved to Holly Springs last year with the vision of opening another restaurant intentionally designed to pay homage to the Cinellis’ Italian heritage while honoring the beauty of the present and establishing new traditions. With the help of their now grown children the Cinellis opened Vieni Ristobar on April 6, 2020.

Vieni Ristobar is a casual, modern eatery with an upbeat vibe. Open for lunch and dinner, the restaurant features an impressive full-service bar surrounded by intimate seating where friends and family can come together to break bread, share a meal, and make memories. The Cinnellis have brought the classic flavors of the old country to Holly Springs by offering authentic homemade Italian fare served in plentiful portions. Not to be missed items are the Fried Calamari, the Long Stem Artichokes with goat cheese baked in lemon butter white sauce, “Cinelli’s Famous” Grandma Margherita Pizza, and the Pappardelle Bolognese. All of Vieni Ristobar’s mouth-watering pastas and sauces are made from scratch in-house using only the freshest high-quality ingredients. Make sure to round out your delicious meal with one of their crafted cocktails (their signature Vieni Blueberry Basil Lemonade Martini with blue cheese olives is a must-try) or a glass of wine from their extensive wine list. Vieni Ristobar is available for special events and catering. 

Gianni and Randi are involved in our Holly Springs community by connecting with and promoting other neighborhood business owners. They enjoy supporting regional growers by purchasing ingredients from the local Farmer’s Market. In 2020 Vieni Ristobar hosted a campaign to feed and assist local families most affected by the lockdowns and Covid-19. They also proudly donate food to our county’s Police and Fire Departments.
