The couple who met in Thailand 20 years ago have been residents of Wake County for the last 15 years. When they heard about the downtown district revitalization they immediately knew they wanted to be a part of it. Osha Thai Kitchen & Sushi opened in June 2019 with Leo overseeing the customer experience in the front of the house and Tuk masterminding all recipe creations and menu items and supervising the kitchen. The duo’s mission is to maintain the flavors of home-cooked meals from Thailand and the precision and freshness of Japanese cuisine while giving their customers an unforgettable experience.
Osha Thai Kitchen & Sushi is the perfect marriage between a classy, modern atmosphere and traditional flavors. “Osha” means delicious in Thai and this swanky Holly Springs restaurant lives up to its name. Mouth-watering menu items include authentic Thai fare like Moo Ping (coconut milk marinated pork skewers, sticky rice, spicy dipping sauce), stir-fry dish Pad Kra Pao (green beans, bell pepper, basil, onion, fresh Thai chili, fried egg), and Pad Thai (rice noodles, egg, fried tofu, fish sauce, bean sprouts, chives, ground peanuts), as well as Japanese classics such as nigiri, sashimi, and sushi rolls like their signature Downtown Dynamic Dragon (shrimp tempura, cream cheese, asparagus, topped with avocado and baked fish, japanese mayo, masago, eel sauce, scallion, micro chives, rice cracker bits).
